Dana L. Caddick, 46, Aurora, MO died Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, at St. John's Aurora.
She was born Feb. 1, 1963, in Monett to Robert and Carrie (Brown) Oetker.
She married Joe Caddick. He died in 1996.
She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Lawrence County.
Survivors include four sons, Brandon Caddick and Darien Caddick, both of Marionville, Joey Caddick, Miller, anbd Brady Caddick, Bonne Terre; her parents, Robert and Carrie Oetker, Mt. Vernon; one sister, Dee Blake, Mt. Vernon; two brothers, Keith Wright and Bobby Oetker, both of Mt. Vernon; and two grandchildren.
Private family services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home, Cassville.
Bryon Lee Calton
Byron Lee Calton, 89, Aurora, MO died at 1:35 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2009, at the Missouri Veterans' Home/Mt. Vernon.
He was born July 20, 1920, in Aurora to William and Martha (Doty) Calton.
He was a World War II United States Navy veteran and retired to Aurora from Washington, D.C. He served on the Aurora City Council from 1990 until 1994. He was a deacon at Southside Baptist Church and a member of American Legion Post #126 of Aurora.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley, of the home.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, at Maple Park Cemetery, Aurora, under direction of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, Aurora, under direction of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, Aurora. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, in the funeral home chapel.
Memorial donations may be made to the Southside Baptist Church, in care of the funeral home.
Sybil R. Calverley
Sybil R. Calverley, 85, Aurora,MO, died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007, in her home.
She was born to Roy and Billie McCarty Moore on Dec. 22, 1921, in Joplin. She was a retired clerk.
Survivors include one son, Bob Calverley, Verona, one brother, Robert Shirley, China, Texas; two sisters, Daphen Webster, St. Clair, and Karen Whitaker, Orange, Texas; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, one son, Roy Calverley, and one daughter, Ava Sue Calverley.
Services were Tuesday, Jan. 30, in the Peterson Funeral Chapel, Aurora.
Burial will be at noon Thursday, Feb. 1, in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Orange, Texas.
Bernard Joseph Campbell
Bernard Joseph Campbell, 84, Monett, MO, died Thursday Jan. 28, 2010, at Cox South, Springfield. He was born Oct. 14, 1925, in Pierce City to Michael and Katherine (Hanlon) Campbell. He married Lenora Gripka April 21, 1954, in Aurora. She survives.
Additional survivors include one son, Ronald Campbell, Monett; three daughters, Barbara Brightwell, Carthage, Carolyn Beard, Ozark, and Marilyn Ceselski, Monett; two brothers, Robert Campbell, Pierce City and Terry Campbell, Monett; two sisters, Ann Bowman, Neosho, and Carolyn Witt, Pierce City; 13 grandchildren; and a special friend, Marsha Wiles.
He was preceded in death by one son, Michael Campbell, four brothers, Tom Campbell, Ed Campbell, James Campbell and William Campbell; and three sisters, Teresa Wines, Freda Koenig and Katherine Eck.
He was a World War II veteran of the United States Army. He retired as a farmer and carpenter. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Verona, Pierce City American Legion, Knights of Columbus Council in Verona, Southwest Missouri Sheep Association and ASC Agricultural Board.
Services were Tuesday, Feb. 2, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Verona, under direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett.
Pamela Rhea Winn Campbell
Pamela Rhea Winn Campbell, 58, Miller, MO, died at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, 2007, in her residence.
She was born April 6, 1949, in Camp Campbell, Ky., to William B. Winn Sr. and Evelyn Fairfax (Edwards) Winn. She was a homemaker.
She married Ray Campbell July 4, 1985, in Lake Tahoe, Calif. He survives.
Additonal survivors include one daughter, Lori Browning, Tullahoma, Tenn.; two stepdaughters, Shari Curtis, Livermore, Calif., and Julia Campbell, Cashiers, N.C.; and her twin sister, Patricia Coles, Tampa, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, William B. Winn Jr.
Services were Saturday, Sept. 29, in Fossett-Mosher funeral Home, Mt. Vernon, with the Rev. Tim Burgess officiating.
Alfred August "Tuffy" Carl
Alfred August "Tuffy" Carl, 87, Aurora, MO died at 10:45 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27,2007, in Cox South, Springfield. He was born Feb. 25, 1920, in Lawrence County to August Henry and Fern (Sullivan) Carl. He was a World War II Army veteran and was pars manager for the Chevrolet dealer in Aurora for 20 years. He retired after 20-plus years of service with Southwest Manufacturing Company.
He Married Ramona L. Wolfinbarger Dec. 24, 1946, in Kansas. She survives.
Additional survivors include three daughters, Vivian Bruner, Springfield, Nancy Essary, Aurora, and Darlene Litchfield, Cassville; one son, Darrell Carl Pierce, Kelso, Wash.; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Sally Carl; two sisters; three brothers, and one great-grandson.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, in Maple Park Cemetery, under direction of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, Aurora.

Danny Joe Carman
Danny Joe Carman, 62, Aurora, MO died in a traffic accident at 7:50 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2009, east of Wheaton.
He was born July 27, 1946, in Vandalia, Ill., to William Earl and Gladys V. (Stone) Carman. He was a retired police officer and served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was a member of Christ Tabernacle Church in Herrick, Ill., and the Disabled American Veterans.
He married Joyce E. Bowen Sept. 21, 1973, in Vandalia. She survives. Also surviving are a son, Daniel "Bo" Carman, St. Charles; three daughters, Sarah Boatman, St. Charles, Rebeka Carman, Bloomington, Ill., and Elizabeth Krut, Normal, Ill.; two brothers, Bill Carman, Crocker, and George Carman, Madisonville, Ky.; five sisters, Jean Tedrick, Highland, Ill., Louise Turner, New Athens, Ill., Betty Emerick and Kay Snyder, both of Vandalia, and Shirley Kingston, Mulberry Groves, Ill.; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Earl, and two sisters, Barbara and Gracie.
Services were held Tuesday, April 14, in Crown Point Church, Vandalia, under the direction of Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia. The Rev. Pete LeDuc officiated. Burial, with military honors was in McInturff Cemetery, Vandalia. Local arrangements were under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.

Rosetta Frances Carr, 83, Aurora, MO died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2008, at the Lawrence County Manor, Mt. Vernon.
She was born Jan 2, 1926, in Lawrence County to Walter Loney and Lela Myrtle (Galloway) Johnson.
She was a bookkeeper and tax consultant and owned and operated a mobile home park for 35 years.
Preceding her in death were her husband Marlin Carr; one son, Randall Eugene Harmon; two brothers, Mel and Vic Johnson; and one granddaughter.
Survivors include one son, Dennis Harmon; one sister, Ina Mae Whitehead, Ash Grove; one brother, Ivan Johnson, Marionville; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services were Friday, Jan. 30, in Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, Aurora. Burial was in Maple Park Cemetery, Aurora.

Marcella I. Carter
Marcella I. Carter, 85, Miller, MO died at 5:25 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, 2007, in Mt. Vernon Place Care Center.
She was born Feb. 21, 1922, in Lawrence County to Don Eldridge and Nina Althea (Pennington) Bryant.
She lived in the Miller community her entire life and was a 1940 graduate of Miller High School. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Miller. She was a secretary for Carnation Milk Company, and later cooked for Miller High School.
She married Delbert Thomas Carter Jan. 25, 1946, in Stella. He survives, of the home.
Additional survivors include three sons, Leonard Carter and Tomas Carter, both of Jasper, and Wayne Carter, Oak Grove; four daughters, Lenora Darland, Carthage, Emma Bradley and Rilla Leeper, both of Miller and Melody Hurst, Everton; two brothers, Lynn Bryant, Wichita, Kan., and Kent Bryant, Memphis, Tenn.; one sister, Donna Williams, Miler; 20 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services were Friday, Oct. 26, in the First Christian Church, Miller, under direction of Morris-Leiman-Mosher Fuenral Home, Miler. Burial was in Ozark Prairie Cemetery.

David "Earl" Cash, 71, Aurora, MO, died Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, in St. John's Springfield. He was born June 26, 1938, in Johnson City, Tenn, to Jahn and Florence Osborne Cash.
Survivors include his wife, Etta; two sons, David Cash, Republic, and Darren Cash, Aurora; three daughters, Karen Moran, Ramona, Calif., Kelle Carter, Harrison, Ark., and Sarah Cash, Aurora; one brother, James Cash, Aurora; one sister, Patricia LeGune, Tullahoma, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, in the Peterson Funeral Chapel, Aurora. Burial will be in Maple Park Cemetery, Aurora.
Darell Gene "Poss" Cavener
Darell Gene "Poss" Cavener, 78, Marionville, MO died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009, at Maranatha Village, Springfield.
He was born Aug. 25, 1930, in Browns Spring to Burl William an Mary (Adams) Cavener.
He married Suzanne Cross May 12, 1951. She died Jan. 29, 2001.
He was a dairy farmer for approximately 50 years. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Wilma Faye Thomas, and one brother, Carl Lee Cavener.
Survivors include three children, Dave Cavener, Danny Cavener and Carol Wallace, all of Marionville; one brother Junior Cavener, Marionville; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Services were Tuesday, Feb. 24, at Meadors Funeral Home, Billings, with the Rev. Jim Jones officiating. Burial was in Marionville IOOF Cemetery.

Jessie "Jay" Richard Chambers
Jessie "Jay" Richard Chambers, 74, Monett, MO, died Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010, at his home. He was born Nov. 14, 1935, in Crane, MO to Link and Dora (Mounce) Chambers. He married Norma L. McPherson Dec. 31, 1979, in Monett. She survives.
He served in the United States Army. He was a supervisor for Tyson Foods until his retirement in 1989.
Additional survivors include one son, Richard Chambers, Mt. Vernon; two daughters, Denise Lewach, Cape Fair, and Janet Thompson, Aurora, one stepson, Galen Hall, Monett; two stepdaughters, Rowena Spears, Monett, and Regina Vineyard, Verona, one brother, Gary Chambers, Crane; two sisters, Charlene Jones, Marionville, and Cheryl Kelly, Crane; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchidlren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Linkford Chambers; three sisters, France Higgins, Beatrice Simpson and Susan Compton; and one granddaughter.

Peter Yee-Chung CheiPeter Yee-Chung Chei, 65, Freistatt, MO passed away at 4:18 a.m. Saturday, April 10, 2010, at St. John's, Springfield. He was born Nov. 18, 1944, in Xi'an, China, the son of Andrew Li-Chung and Pricilla Wei-Chow Chei. Peter moved to Springfield from Hong Kong in 1964, where he attended Evangel College. Peter was referred to as a Missionary in America and dedicated his life to visiting schools and sharing in the music of the Gospel. After college, he traveled to all of the states. In 1993, he moved to Mt. Vernon, where he pastored at the Free Methodist Church. He currently was the pastor of C.H.R.I.S.T. Fellowship in El Dorado Springs, was the organist and choir director for the First Christian Church in El Dorado Springs and the chaplain coordinator for the Missouri Rehabilitation Center. Peter played an active role in promoting and coordinaing well-known Christian artists within the Midwest. He was truly a man of God in all aspects of his life. On Sept. 29, 2001, he married Diana L. Flynn in Mt. Vernon. She survives him of the home.
Additional survivors include his father, Andrew Chei of Brooklyn, N.Y.; three sons, Jason Chung-Chi Chei and his wife, Sunny, and James Chei, all of Nevada, and Jared Yung-Chi Chei and his wife, Lieca, of Xining, China; one sister, Ruth Piscopo and her husband, Richard, of North Tampa, Fla.; two brothers, David Chei and his wife, Judy, of Queens, N.Y.; three grandchidlren, Jayden, Mia and Araleigh; and the mother of his chidlren, Janice McDonald. His mother preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. Thursday, April 15, at the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, 510 E. Cherry St., Mt. Vernon, MO 65712. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at the Mt. Vernon City Cemetery following the service. Peter W. "Bill Christianson, D.O. 73, Miller, MO died Monday Oct. 18, 2010, in Carthage Health and Rehabilitation Center, Carthage, MO.
He was born Sept. 18, 1937, in Enid, Okla., to Christian Peter and Olive Anne (Dickman) Christiasen. He was a graduate of Phillips University in Enid and Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine. He practiced medicine for 41 years in Lockwood and Golden City. He was a member of the American Osteopatic Association. He was of the nondenominational Christian faith.
He married Alice R. Winterbower Dec. 22, 1962. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, Eric, Springfield, and Edgar, Branson; his mother, Olive Humphrey, Enid; a brother, Richard, Canyon City, Colo.; and a grandson.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Christine Barwick. Services were Saturday, Oct. 23, at Meadors Funeral Home, Republic. Burial was in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Clever. Memorials may be made to McCune-Brooks Regional Hospital, Carthage.

Julia Christy, 49, Monett, MO died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2009, in Monett Health Care Center.
She was born March 4, 1959, in Aurora, MO to Ron and Barbara Sanders Phillips.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis, two sons, Rueben and Ronnie Christy; one brother, Bob Able; and one sister Rhonda Phillips.
Services will be at a later date; Arrangements are under direction of Peterson Funeral Chapel, Aurora.
Helen Louise Chudomelka
Helen Louise Chudomekla, 91, Aurora, MO, died at 9:05 a.m. Thursday, March 25, 2010, at the Lawrence County Manor, Mt. Vernon, MO. She was born June 14, 1918, in Dodge, Neb., to Anton and Mary L. Uher Havelka.
She married Lambert M. Chudomelka Sept. 27, 1938, in Dodge. They built a successful grain and cattle farm in Marshall County, Iowa, before moving to Ozark, where they were dairy farmers for more than 30 years. She was a charter member of the National Farmers' Organization and was a founding member of St. Joseph the Worker's Catholic Parish in Ozark. In 1979, they moved to Aurora and she later obtained her licensed practical nursing degree to care for her husband during his illness. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Aurora.
Survivors include three sons, Lambert A. Chudomelka, Halltown, Charles A. Chudomelka, Springfield, and John Chudomeklka, Houston, Texas; three daughters, Mary Jane Grajal, Madrid, Spain, Kathleen Chudomelka, Mt. Vernon, and JoAnn Southern, Tulsa, Okla.; two brothers, Edward Havelka, Marshalltown, Iowa, and Tony Havelka, Verona; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral Mass was Monday, March 29, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Aurora. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Aurora, under direction of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, Aurora.

Victor Wayne Clark, 59, Aurora, MO died Wednesday, April 1, 2009, in his home. He was born Nov. 1, 1949, in Eureka Springs, Ark., to Lewis Allen "Buck" and Theda Lee Lynch Clark.
He attended the Westside Freewill Baptist Church in Wichita, Kan., before moving to Aurora.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Allen Clark; his mother, Theda Lee Sheets; one brother, Randall Clark; his stepfather, Ernest Sheets; and one grandson.
Survivors include one son, Rick Clark, one daughter, Dana Clark Banks, and two grandchildren, all of Aurora; five brothers, Allen Clark, Monett, Jerry Clark, Aurora, Lewis David Clark, Wichita, Kan., Charlie Sheets, Ocean Springs, Miss., and Harley Sheets, Holiday Island, Ark.; and three sisters, Gail Presley, Kingman, Kan., Jayne Little, Harrison, Ark., and Melody Russell, Huntsville, Ark.

Betty L. Clemens, 69, Marshall, MO died Monday, Nov. 17, 2008, at Boone Hospital Cancer Center in Columbia.
Services will be at 10a.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marshall, with the Rev. Douglas A. Dubisar officiating. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Born on Sept. 15, 1939, in Sweet Springs, she was the daughter of the late Melvin C. Steinkuhler and Erna C. Bodenstab Steinkuhler. She was a 1957 graduate of Sweet Springs High School. On Sept. 3, 1960, she married George R. Clemens, who survives of the home. She had lived in Saline County most of her life and was co-owner and operator of Clemens Pool & Spa. She was member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, the church choir and Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. She was also a member of Monday Club, Laureate Mu Society chapter of Beta Sigma Phi and Valley Women’s Organization. She was inducted into Missouri Valley College Women’s Hall of Fame in 2003.
Additional survivors include one son, Tim Clemens and wife, Gwen of rural Marshall; two daughters, Kris Soetaert and husband, Dave of Mt. Vernon and Amber Ballenger and husband, Jonathan of rural Marshall: six
grandchildren, Tyler Clemens and wife, Shannon, Breinne Clemens, Korey Pryer, Madison Soetaert, Morgan Soetaert and Laney Ballenger; one brother, Jerry Steinkuhler and wife, Judy of rural Concordia: and several nieces and nephews.

Emily Lee Evans Clevenger, 87, Marionville, MO died at 12:10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007, at the home of her daughter in Monett, were she had lived for the past three years.She was born Nov. 19, 1919, in Elsey to Joseph Leo and Jessie Earle Melton Evans. She married Newton Andrew Clevenger July 5, 1938, at the courthouse in Galena. They were married 61 years. He died Dec. 1, 1999.She was a longtime member of the Methodist Protestant church and the Nazarene Church in Marionville.She was preceded in death by two daughters, Betty Hilton and Alma Hall; three sisters, Mary Clevenger, Willa Fischer and Priscilla Standefer; two brothers, Jimmy Lee and Burl Evans; and two granddaughters.Survivors include one son, Danny Clevenger, Marionville, three daughters, Linda Layne, Brookline Station, Janice Anderson, Monett, and Lois Garner, Aurora, one brother, Joe Evans, Warrenton; four sisters, Eva Goigle, Tarpon Springs, Fla., Gertrude Thomas, Purdy, Jean Roush, Independence, and Ruth Sanders, Cassville; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.Services were Tuesday, Feb. 6, at the Mars Hill community Building, near Crane, with the Revs. John Conn and DeWayne Hulett officiating. Leonard Russell Cloud
Leonard Russell Cloud, 68, Aurora, MO, passed away after a long illness at 5:05 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2007, in St. John's Hospital, Springfield.
He was born Oct. 13, 1938, in Kansas City to Neva L. Cloud. He graduated from Odessa High School in 1957, was a United States Army veteran during the Korean Conflict, was employed with Carnation Can Company, Mt. Vernon, from 1973 until 1977, was employed with Paul Mueller Company, Springfield, from 1977 until 1983, and was a paramedic for Cox Hospital from 1983 until 2000. He was also a reserve police officer for Monett and Republic, was a member of the Boot Kickers Country Western Dance Club and was of the Christian Faith.
On May 9, 1992, he married Raylene Clarkson in Monett. She survives of the home.
Additional survivors include one daughter, Linda Johnson and husband Rick, Marionville; two sons, Scott Cloud and wife Roxanne, Carl Junction, and Jim Cloud and wife Kelley, Monett; and eight grandchildren.
His His mother and one son, Joey Cloud, preceded him in death.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept 8, in the King's Way Christian Church, Mt. Vernon, with the Rev. Jim Taylor officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, Mt. Vernon.

June E. Coatney - 87, Monett, died at 8:10 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008, at her home in Monett. She was born Nov. 16, 1921 in Guymon, OK., to Clarence Hugh and Nellie May (Medley) Rawlings.She married Johnnie Bertrand Coatney Aug. 5, 1939, in Cassville. He preceded her in death. She was a homemaker.Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Ethridge, McDowell: Three sons, James Lee Coatney, Monett, Johnnie Dale Coatney, Aurora, and Kenneth Lee Coatney, Pierce City; two brothers, Clarence Hugh and Robert Dale Rawlings: four sisters, Frances Smith, Violet Bastura, Betty Wendler and Catheron Fowler; 20 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Frank, Tom and Gene Rawlings. Kenneth "Ken" William Coatney
Kenneth "Ken" William Coatney, 66, Aurora, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2007, in Barnes Hospital, St. Louis.
He was born Sept. 12, 1940, in Eagle Rock to William and Effie (Edwards) Coatney.
He married Becky Hopkins Nov. 12, 1981. She survives.
He received his education in Cassville and then served in the United States Navy. He was employed by Cessna in Wichita, Kan., for nine years. Most of his life was spent in car sales. He retired as sales manager after 35 years in the business. He had been nationally recognized as a sales person by General Motors, Ford Motor Company and Chrysler Corporation. He was a member of Roaring River Baptist Church and the bowling league.
Additional survivors include two sons, Ken Coatney Jr., Elk City, Kan., and Kent Coatney, Longton, Kan.; one daughter Kendria Schnug, Elk City; one brother, Ted Coatney, Cassville; four sisters, Lela Cole, Cassville, Alma Robbins, Exeer, Rita Stringer. Eagle Rock, and Wilda Lee, Cassville; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and two step-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Ova Hilburn, Vada Coatney and Viola Coatney; and one brother, Dennis Coatney.
Services were Tuesday, Aug. 7, in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville, with the Revs. Jerry Yarnall and Paul Yarnall officiating. Burial was in Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter.
Robert E. Cobb
Robert E. Cobb, 78, Aurora, died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, in the Ozarks Methodist Manor, Marionville.
He was born March 9, 1931, in Mildred to Jesse and Ruth Brown Cobb. He was a retired restaurant owner.
Survivors include his wife, Paula; two sons, Curtis Cobb, Alamarda, N.M., and Donald Manning, Klamath Falls, Ore.; one daughter, Carolyn Gideon, Seligman; one sister, Lucille Meridith, Kissee Mills; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, in Browns Cemetery, Cedar Creek, under direction of Peterson Funeral Chapel, Aurora.
E.N. Coker Jr.
E.N. Coker Jr., 84, Monett, MO died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009, at Cox Monett.
He was born Jan. 13, 1925, in Vernona to Elijah and Ethel (Anderson) Coker. He married Vera Wormington Aug. 4, 1973, in Cassville. She survives.
He was a member of Chirst United Methodist Church, Monett, and was retired from Jumping Jack Shoe, Monett.
Additional survivors include one son, Norman Coker, St. Louis; one stepson, Bruce Chandler, Monett; one daughter, Cheryl Robinson, Texas; one stepdaughter, Angela Madero, Golden; one sister, Betty Hedding, Fresno, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildrfen.
Services were Tuesday, Dec. 22, at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett, with the Rev. Jimmy Copley officiating. Burial was in Monett IOOF Cemetery.
Brian Collins
Brian Collins, 36, Pierce City, MO died Friday, Sept. 18, 2009, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born July 13, 1973, in Monett to Don and Effie Raley Collins. He was a truck driver.
Survivors include three sons, Clinton Collins and Travis Collins, both of Billings, and Wyatt Collins, Exeter; two daughters, Brianna Collins, Exeter, and Bailee Collins, Richie; his parents; six brothers, Michael Collins, Shell Knob, Donald Collins, Duncan, Okla., Kevin Collins, Republic, and David Collins, Curtis Collins and Joshua Collins, all of Aurora; and two sisters, Angela Williams and Kimberly Haley, both of Aurora.
Services were Tuesday, Sept. 22, in Peterson Funeral Chapel, Aurora. Burial was in Maple Park Cemetery, Aurora.
Hulda Irene Fay Collins
Hulda Irene Fay Collins, 48, Aurora, MO, died at 9:51 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008, at Cox South, Springfield. She was born March 31, 1960, in Springfield to William Claude and Geraldine (Williams) DeBoard. She was a homemaker and a member of Stone Cutter Ministries Church in Willard.
Survivors include five daughters, Ellen Mooneyham, Aurora, Sara Forrester, Sedalia, Sandy Forrester, Jonesboro, Ark., Amber King, Pierce City, and Sally Hix, Cuba, two sons, Jesse Deckard, Warrensburg, and James Deckard, Billings; two sisters, Deloris Ray, Aurora, and Ellen Emerson, Springfield; two brothers, William DeBoard, Lubbock Texas, and Denny Lakins, Puyallup, Wash.; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, William Deckard and David Crawford; her parents; three sisters, Barbara Allen, Linda Williams and Marie Nichols, and four brothers, E. Thomas, Earl, Larry and Ron DeBoard.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, at Elm Branch Christian Church, Aurora. Burial will be at a later date in Hood Cemetery, Hurley. Arrangements are under direction of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, Aurora.

Maxine Cozad, 85, Miller, died at 12:30 a.m. Sunday, March 18, 2007, in the Lawrence County Manor, Mt. Vernon. She was born July 28, 1921, in Webb City to Joseph Robert and Artie Pearl (Clement) Holladay. She was a former owner and operator of a tavern in Webb City. She worked as a school crossing guard for Mt. Vernon schools for approximately 10 years. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and was of the Protestant faith. She lived in the Miller area for two and a half years.
Survivors include one sister, Waymeth Choate, Miller.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, two sisters and four brothers.
No services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, Mt. Vernon.
Charles Conley
Charles Conley, 69, Pierce City, MO died Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009, at Lawrence County Manor, Mt. Vernon.
Funeral Mass was Friday, Oct. 10, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pierce City, with Father Peter Morciniec officiating. Burial was in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Pierce City, under direction of Wessell Funeral Home, Pierce City.
Eugene Earl Conn
Eugene Earl Conn, 82, Aurora, MO, died at 12 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007, at Mt. Vernon Place Care Center. He was born July 31, 1925, in Clever to John Fredrick and Alvina P. (Arndt) Conn. He lived in Lawrence County his entire life. He was a United States Army veteran and served during World War II. He worked at the shoe factory in Marionville and retired as a chemical operator for Syntex Chemical. He was a member of United Commercial Travelers and the fundamental Methodist Church. He coached several little league teams for his children. He married Elizabeth "Betty" Freiburger June 16, 1947, in Verona. She survives. Additional survivors include eight children, Steve Conn, Howe, Texas, Donna Crawford, Drexel, Tom, John, Tony, Charles and Mark Conn, all of Aurora, and David Conn, Lakewood, Colo.; one sister, Sylvia Smith, Aurora; 23 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Lucille Childress; and one brother, Marvin Conn. Services were Tuesday, Aug. 21, in Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, Aurora. Burial was in Maple Park Cemetery. Nathanael Reed "Cookie" Cook Sr.
Nathanael Reed "Cookie" Cook Sr., 75, Aurora, died Saturday, May 12, 2007, in his home in Marionville following a long illness.
He was born Nov. 18, 1931, in Stone County to Andrew Guston and NAurora.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was with the 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry, 7th Division. He was honored in Springfield by Mel Hancock, Roy Blunt and the Veterans Association of Branson/Hollister and was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and the KWVA Honor Guard. He had also been a member of the Aurora Houn Dawgs CB Club.
He married Lynda Woody May 13, 1962. She survives.
Additional survivors include three children, Cheryl Adamson, Ft. Scott, Kan., and Donna Harris and Nathaneal Cook Jr., both of Marionville; two sisters, Genna Faye Burgess and Icy Jane Reavis, both of Marionville; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were Tuesday, May 15, in Westrip Funeral Home, Crane, with the Rev. Rick Flood officiating. Burial, with full military honors provided by the Korean War Veterans Honor Guard of Branson/Hollister, was in Maple Park Cemetery, Aurora.

Mary Madiline Coons
Mary Madiline Coons, 82, Monett, formerly of Wentworth, died Thursday, April 30, 2009, at the Aurora Nursing Center, Aurora.
She was born June 2, 1926, in Higley, Ariz., to William Earl and Ethel Lauisa (Dyer) Fountain.
The family moved to Becker, Minn., when she was 2 years old. She graduated from Becker High School in 1944.
She married Stanley W. Coons Oct. 5, 1946. He preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and a rural mail carrier for the Wentworth Post Office. She was a member of the Dry Valley United Methodist Church.
She was also preceed in death by two brothers, Leslie and Robert Fountain, and an infant grandson.
Survivors include two daughters, Etheljean McMullen, Zimmerman, Minn., and Connie Moudy, Monett; two sons, Harold Coons, Coffeyville, Kan., and Dennis Coons, Elk River, Minn.; two sisters, Verdence Lindberg, Cambridge, Minn., and Maxine Coons, Andover, Minn.; 14 grandchldren; four stepgrandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Services were Saturday, May 2, in Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home Chapel, Sarcoxie, with the Rev. Crystal Wicks and Pastor Bryan Ozbun officiating. Burial was in the Pierce City Cemetery.

Aleda Coverdale
Aleda Coverdale, 72, Aurora, MO died Monday, March 9, 2009, in St. John's Aurora.
She was born Jan. 14, 1937, in Monroe, Mich., to Sanger and Lizzie Thomas Pollock.
Survivors include two sons, Paul Coverdale, Ozark, and Jackie Coverdale, Arkansas; three daughters, Susan Beckman, Florida, and Fayann Webb and Trudy Coverdale, both of Aurora; one brother, Leland Pollack, Indianaplis, Ind.; one sister, Ann Szatkowski, Michigan; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; two sons, Charles Coverdale Jr. and Virgil Coverdale; one grandson; and one great-grandaughter.
Services were Thursday, March 12, in Peterson Funeral Chapel, Aurora. Burial was in Maple Park Cemetery, Aurora.
Carl Crabb
Carl Crabb, 76, Aurora, MO died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2007, in the Aurora Nursing Center.
He was born March 29, 1921, in Elsey to Clayton and Etta Fately Crabb. He was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen; three sons, Dick Crabb, Haysville, Kan., Mike Crabb, Aldrich, and Kerry Crabb, Durhan, N.C.; two daughters, Gayle Enfinger, Germantown, Md., and Peggy Williams, Verona; two brothers, Fred Crabb, North Andover, Mass., and Dennis Crabb, Clever; three sisters, Murel Carr, Cape Fair, Mary Leonard, Aurora, and Joan Robertson, Petaluma, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Glen, Don, Ivan and Rudolph.
Memorial services were Tuesday, Sept. 4, in Aurora First Baptist Church, under the direction of Peterson Funeral Chapel, Aurora.

Gary Crane
Gary Crane, 34, Aurora, MO died Sunday, Aug. 30, 2009, in his home.
He was born Jan. 5, 1975, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Gary and Connie Allmon Crane. He was a carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Ashley; five childrfen, Gavin, Gary Jr., Carson, Jacob and Kaleb; his parents; grandmother Maxine Allmon; and two brothers, Daniel and Matthew Crane.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, in Harvest Fellowship Church, Aurora. Burial will be in Maple Park Cemetery, Aurora, under direction of Peterson Funeral Chapel, Aurora.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, in the funeral chapel.
William Earl Crockett
William Earl Crockett, 59, went home to be with the Lord Friday, July 27, 2007, in his home.
Born Sept. 18, 1947, in Lamar to Linn F. Crockett and Anita F. (Suiter) Crockett. Bill granduated from high school in Golden City in 1965.
He then served in the United States Air Force for three and a half years. Bill worked in various jobs throughout his lifetime, the latest being a driver for Missouri Rehabilitation Center in Mt. Vernon.
Bill married Ilene Abigail Scivner Oct. 2, 1970. She survives, along with three children; Gene Crockett, Miller, Mollie Crockett, Lenexa, Kan., Sam Crockett, Branson; his mother, Anita Crockett, Miller; two brothers, Charles Crockett and his wife, Cecelia, Boaz, Ala., Kenneth Crockett and his wife, Bonnie, Collins; one sister, Lillian Barnes and her husband, Merlin, Olathe, Kan.; along with several nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by an infant sister, his father and his grandparents.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, at Round Grove Baptist Church, Miller.
Robert L. Crosswhite
Robert L. Crosswhite, 71, Aurora, MO died at 6:49 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2007, in St. John's Springfield.
He was born June 12, 1935, in Lead Hill, Ark., to Jewell Lowry and Myrtle (Moon) Crosswhite.
He was a 1953 graduate of Harrison (Ark.) High School. He moved to the Aurora community from Arkansas in 1966. He worked as a printer for MWM, Aurora, and was of the Protestant faith.
He married Mary Crawford May 23, 1953, in Omaha, Ark. She survives.

Robert Thomas Crume
Robert Thomas Crume, 75, Marionville, MO died Monday, April 5, 2010, in his home. He was born Aug. 14, 1934, in Stone County to Earnest and Inez (Coin) Crume.
He was a farmer and lived in the area since 1970, coming from Fontana, Calif. He was a member of the Corner Stone Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sally Jo Mills, and stepdaughter Deloria Flood.
Survivors include his wife, Louise; one son, Robert Crume Jr., Aurora; one daughter, Sandra King, Crane; three stepdaughters, Janice Gamble, Republic, Rowena Flood, Highlandville, and Yvette Pendleton, Marionville; one brother, Earnest Crume Jr., Crane; four sisters, Betty Little, Galena, Bonnie Branstetter, Hollister, Mary Mears, Springfield, and Ima Jean Bunch, Abesville; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services were Thursday, April 8, at Manlove-Stumpff Chapel, Crane, with Chuck Dunn and Dwight Crume officiating. Burial was in Yocum Pond Cemetery, Reeds Springs.
Pete Cupito
Pete Cupito, age 77, of Miller, passed away at 11:15 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009, at the Lawrence County Manor.
He was born April 11, 1932, in Kansas City to Anthony and Fern (Saia) Cupito. Pete worked as a printer for SMS College. He was a Korean War Army veteran and a member of American Legion Post #120 of Miller. He was a member of Assembly of God Church in Mt. Vernon.
He married Delora McCullah Jan. 6, 1963, in Miami, Okla. She preceded him in death June 27, 1997. His parents also preceded him in death.
Those surviving him include one son, John Layman of Cordova, Alaska; two sisters, Madeline Love of Smithville and Phyllis Corbett of Kansas City; and two grandchildren, Lee Carin and Courtney Anne Layman, both of Anacortes, Wash.
Services, under the direction of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, Mt. Vernon, were Thursday, Oct. 8, at the Church on the Loop in Mt. Vernon. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Springfield.

Roxann Toka (Vaughn) Cupp
Roxann Toka (Vaughn) Cupp, 59, Aurora, MO, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, at her home after a short illness. She was born Oct. 17, 1950, in Hickory, Ark., to Lloyd and Edna (Tucker) Vaughn. She married Delbert Cupp May 28, 1968, in St. Louis. He survives. She lived in the Aurora area more than 55 years.
She worked in the medical field most of her life. She was an emergency medical technician for the Barry Lawrence County Ambulance, a certified medical aide in long-term care facilities, a home health care provider with Integrity Health Care in Joplin and worked 15 years for Dr. Jones.
Additional survivors include one son, Mike Cupp, Springfield; one daughter, Dawn Moore, Aurora; one brother, Leon Vaughn, Monett; two sisters, Earlene England, Stella, and Nadine Bearden, Eugene, Ore.; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Amber Darnell Cupp.
Visitation will be in the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett, from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, with the Rev. Walter Jolly officiating. Burial will be in Maple Park Cemetery, Aurora.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital.
