Clyde Willard Rapp
Clyde Willard Rapp, 76, Marionville, died at 6:25 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007, in St. John's, Aurora.
He was born Dec. 15, 1930, in Clever to Stephen Langford and Louise May Jefferson Rapp. He was a member of Shiloah Baptist Church and a retired freight truck driver.
Survivors include one son, Clyde Stephen Rapp, Marionville; one daughter, Carolyn Sue Newman, Marionville; six brothers, Vernon Hanfin, Illinois, Harold Rapp and Joe Rapp, both of Everton, Leonard Rapp, Springfield, Jack Rapp, Marionville, and Billy Rapp, Lebanon; six sisters, Mae Sullivan, Crane, Mary Lou Soutee, Janice Greiner, Charlotte Lawson, and Ivon Gold, all of Marionville, and Eva Lee Veal, Minority, N.M.; nine grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lowell and Don.
Services were Saturday, Aug. 25, in Williams Funeral Home Chapel, Marionville. Burial, with full military honors by the Southwest Missouri Marine Corps League Detachment #993, Springfield, was in Smart Cemetery, near Clever.
George Raynor
George Raynor, 76, Aurora, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, in his home.
He was born May 3, 1931, in Lowry, Ark., to William and Edith Huston Raynor. He was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Frances; one son, Gary Raynor Stockton; one daughter, Denise Morgan, Aurora; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Graveside services were Monday, Dec. 10, in the Marionville IOOF Cemetery, under direction of Peterson Funeral Home, Aurora.
Rex J. Reese
Rex J. Reese, of Mt. Vernon passed away at 1:35 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2009, in St. John's Hospital, Springfield. He was born on Aug. 19, 1930, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Bert and Naomi (Eshelman) Reese. Rex retired from the waste water treatment plant for the City of Mt. Vernon and was of the Catholic faith. On Nov. 17, 1962, he married Alice Vandergrift in Las Vegas, Nev. She survives him of the home.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Debbie Padilla and husband David of Mt. Vernon, and Theresa Jordan of Peoria, Ill.; one son, Gary Reese of Springfield; four grandchildren, Tennille Childers, Derrick Padilla, Dana Abramovitz and Dara Padilla; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jackie Thomas of Des Moines. His parents; daughter Kelli Bybee; sister Natalie Reese; and brothers Harold and Bill Reese preceded him in death.
Graveside services under direction of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, Mt. Vernon, were Thursday, July 30, in the Mt. Vernon City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home for assistance with expenses.

James (Jim) Reid
James (Jim) Reid, 62, Miller, died Friday, April 23, 2010, as a result of injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident.
He was born Oct. 15, 1947, to James A. and Bernice Reid.
He married Minnie Sanders March 20, 1965. She survives.
Additional survivors include five children, Arthur Reid, Stephen Reid, Nancy Reid, Mike Reid and Tina Reynolds, all of Miller; his mother, Bernice Reid; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, James A. Reid; one son, Timothy Reid; and one grandson.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 8, at Church on the Loop, Mt. Vernon.
Flowers and memorial contributions may be sent to the church, in memory of Jim Reid.
Martha E. Reidle
Martha E. Reidle, 91, Aurora, died at 5:15 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009, in the Aurora Nursing Center.
She was born Oct. 20, 1917, in Aurora to John and Bernice (Stone) Norman. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
She married Joseph Michael Reidle Sept. 1, 1934, in Aurora. He died Dec 8, 1991.
Survivors include one son, Edward Reidle, Aurora; one brother, Dick Norman, Monett; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Charles and Johnny Reidle; two brothers, Roy and Willard Norman; and one sister, Marcella Rogers.
Services were Wednesday, Feb. 4, in Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, Aurora. Burial was in Spring River Cemetery, Verona.
Elwood Dewitt "Woody" Rexroat
Elwood DeWitt "Woody" Rexroat, 88, Aurora, formerly of Mesa, Ariz., died Saturday, April 17, 2010, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Fayetteville, Ark.
He was born July 21, 1921, in Dayton, Ohio, to Wilbur and Opal (Wright) Rexroat. He was a World War II United States Army Air Force veteran and worked as an airplane engine mechanic. He was an entrepreneur, having successful carpet stores, a needlecraft manufacturing business and was an airline broker, to name a few. He married Shirley (Love) Welch Dec. 27, 1979, in Prescott, Ariz. She survives.
Additonal survivors include two children, Gil Lorraine, Sarasota, Fla., and Terry Rexroat, Indianapolis, Ind.; three stepchildren, Dan Broyles, Aurora, and Leesa Gonzalez and Tom Welch, both of Austin, Texas; seven grandchildren; and five great-granchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant sister.
Graveside services were Thursday, April 22, in the Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio, with full military honors, Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, Aurora, was in charge of local arrangements.
Blon L. Rhea
Blon L. Rhea, 88, Marionville, died at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, at his home.
He was born Nov. 5, 1921, in Nixa to Everett W. and Patsy J. (Edwards) Rhea.
He worked for Western Auto and Brown Derby in Springfield, Boeing Aircraft in the early 50's in Wichita, Kan., Convair in California and helped at Charlie's Boot World in Aurora.
He married Dorothy Nicklas in Berryville, Ark., Sept. 7, 1947. She survives
Additonal survivors include one son, Blon R. Rhea, Marionville; three daughters, Leann Wingo, Bonita, Calif., Cathy Rice, Stanley, N.Y., and Lillian Durant, Medford, Ore.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by six brothers and one sister.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at Heritage Harmony House, Aurora, under direction of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, Aurora. A meal will follow the service.
Patricia Rickman
Paricia Rickman, 69, Aurora, died Sunday, April 12, 2009, in Cox South, Springfield.
She was born March 4, 1940, in Chesapeake to Finis and Sylvia Smith Norris. She was a retired factory worker.
Survivors include her husband, Jack; a son, Randall Horn, Murrieta, Calif.; five brothers, Larry Norris, Mt. Vernon, Michael Norris, Steven Norris and Doug Norris, all of California, and Rudy Norris, Carthage; two sisters, Terri Brown, California, and Viola Cardwell, Springfield; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Timothy Horn, and brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, in Peterson Funeral Chapel, Aurora.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Arpil 16, in Faith Full Gospel Ghurch,
Aurora. Burial will be in Maple Park Cemetery.
Gloria Ridenour
Gloria Ridenour, 67, Aurora, died Tuesday, April 7, 2009, in Cox South, Springfield. No services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Peterson Fuenral Chapel, Aurora.
Ruth Alberta Ridout

Ruth Alberta Ridout, 89, Aurora, died Sunday, Feb.1, 2009, in her home.
She was born Feb. 7, 1919, in Eastland, Texas, to Ray and Mabel Wiley.
She had lived in the area since 1968, coming from Silver City, N.M. Before retiring, she was a teacher for the Crane School District.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert.
Survivors include one son, Hugh Ridout, Aurora.
Services were Thursday, Feb. 5, in Manlove-Stumpff Chapel, Crane, with Dean Wilson officiating. Burial was in Crane Community Cemetery.

John Henry Rickman
John Henry Rickman, 90, Aurora, died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2007, in the Aurora Nursing Center.
He was born June 6, 1917, in Reeds Spring to Cleo and Minnie Ann (Hart) Rickman. He was a World War II United States Army veteran and was of the Pentecostal faith. He was a retired heavy equipment operator, working for Maxwell Construction Co. of Dallas, Texas.
He married Reva J. Smith July 6, 1972, in Aspen, Colo. She survives.
Additional survivors include one son, Jackie Rickman, Aurora; one daughter, Wilma Sue Morris, Aurora; two stepsons, Kent Hendricks, Fairbanks, Alaska, and Keith Hendricks, Larkspur, Colo.; one stepdaughter, Kathy Stacey, Castlerock, Colo.; two brothers, Otis and Donald Rickman, both of Aurora; one sister, Ama Youngblood, Sanger, Calif.; eight grandchildren, four step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rose Marie Lacy; one son, Dwayne; two brothers, Dale and Pauley; and three sisters, Mae Rickman, Ruth Youngblood and Thelma Luse.
Services were Friday, Aug. 10, in Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, Aurora, with the Rev. Rex Mooneyham officiating. Burial was in Maple Park Cemetery, Aurora.

Alice Kathryn Rinker
Alice Kathryn Rinker, 85, Aurora, died at 12:05 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010, at St. John's Aurora. She had lived in the Aurora community most of her life. She was born April 17, 1924, in Imboden, Ark., to Edward and Ida (Ellis) Crossland. She married Howard Sanford Rinker July 17, 1941. He died July 3, 1960. She retired from Juvenile Shoe Factory in 1976.
She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Howard; four brothers, Henry, Bert, Jim and Charles Crossland; and a sister, Naoma Crider.
Survivors include one daughter, Kay Rinker, Aurora; two sons, Rudy Rinker, Springfield, and Stan Rinker, Aurora; one brother, Edward Crossland, Bates City; three sisters, Viola Edwards, Springfield, Anna Maples, Miami, Okla., and Mary McKee, Monett; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were Friday, Feb. 12, at Clio Cemetery, under direction of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, Aurora.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, in care of the funeral home.
Joe R. Ritchey Jr.
Joe R. Ritchey Jr., 73, Aurora, died at 12:12 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, 2007, in his home.
He was born Feb. 20, 1933, in Dallas Texas, to Joseph R. and Annabelle “Bebe” (Pope) Ritchey.
He and his family moved to the Aurora community in 1995 from Dallas, Texas. He was a 1951 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and retired as purchasing agent from the Womack Machine Supply company in Dallas.
He married Katie “Kay” Folmar Jan. 14, 1972, in Durant, Okla. She survives.
Additional survivors include two sons, Steven and Stan Ritchey, both of Dallas; two daughters, Shari Taylor, Dallas, and Linda Degarmo, Aurora; and eight grandchildren.
Private services will be at the White Rock Lake, Dallas, Texas, at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, in care of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, Aurora.

Charles Andrew Roberts Jr.
Charles Andrew Roberts Jr. 52, Monett, died Saturday, May 30, 2009, at Cox South, Springfield.
He was born Jan. 3, 1957, in Mendota, Calif., to Charles Andrew and Theresa B. Peyton Roberts.
He worked for Schreiber Foods in Mt. Vernon and was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Monett.
He married Claire Sheffer March 26, 1988, in Happy Valley, Calif. She survives.
Additional survivors include his parents, of Pierce City; five children, Brooke Hagopian, Gardnerville, Nev., Beu Levi Roberts, Salinas, Calif., Darryl Peyton, Sumter, S.C., Travis Peyton, Redding, Calif., and Laura Ingram, Sacramento, Calif.; two brothers, Rodney Roberts and Keven Roberts, both of Pierce City; and eight grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 5,, at Christ United Methodist Church, Monett, under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett.
Kenneth R. Roberts
Kenneth R. Roberts, 82, Sarcoxie, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, at Freeman Health System, Joplin
He was born Oct. 17, 1927, in Tarkio to Lee and Agnes (Hughes) Roberts. He married Frances Straw Nov. 4, 1950, in Harriosn, Ark. She survives.
He served in the United States Army and was a veteran of World War II. He was a 50-year member of the AF&AM John J. Mercer Masonic Lodge No. 290 in Nebraska, a member of the Scottish Rite and also a member of the North American Shrine in Nebraska. Before retiring and moving to his farm near Stotts City, he was a vocational rehabilitation counselor.
Additonal survivors include one brother, Pete Roberts, Ozark.
Services were Saturday, Feb. 6, at Lakin Funeral Home, Pierce City, with Brother Jimmie Copley officiating. Burial was in Missouri Veterans' Cemetery, Springfield, Monday, Feb. 8, with military honors.
Bruce William Robertson
Bruce William Robertson, 26, Miller, died at 8:44 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2007, in Cox South, Springfield.
He was born Nov. 13, 1980, in Springfield to Richard McHaffie and Margarette Robertson. he attended Round Grove Baptist Church.
He married Samantha Summers July 7, 2001, in Stotts City. She survives.
Additional survivors include three daughters, Grace, Shelby and Jessie Robertson, of the home; one son, Bryan Robertson of the home, his mother Margarette Robertson, Miller; three brothers, Kris and Jordan Robertson, Miller, and Randall Robertson. Monett; one sister, Brandi Rice, Miller; and paternal grandparents, Frances and Mack James. Mt. Vernon
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ezra Robertson.
Services were Saturday, March 17, in Round Grove Baptist Church, west of Miller, with the Rev. Bob Holman officiating. Burial was in the Round Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home, Miller.

Carl Evert Robertson
Carl Evert Robertson, 81, Miller, died at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2007, in Cox South, Springfield.
He was born March 17, 1926, in Greenfield to Jerry Franklin and Jerusha (Wright) Robertson. He was a retired maintenance worker for the State Highway Department, a World War II Army veteran and member of the Benjamin-Elliot-Stockton American Legion Post 120, Miller.
He married Mary Marcella Ritchey Aug. 7, 1950, in Lamar. She survives.
Additional survivors include six sons, Roy Robertson, Vinita, Okla., Leslie Tennis, Mike Robertson and Steve Robertson, all of Miller, Donald Robertson, Mt. Vernon, and Monty Ray Robertson, Carthage; two daughters, Gloria Gee, St. Petersburg, Fla., and Mary Samuels, Miller; 18 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Services were Sunday, March 25, in the Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home, Miller, with the Rev. Gerald Huff officiating.

Violet Robertson
Violet Robertson, 93, Aurora, died Sunday, April 26, 2009.
She was born Dec. 27, 1915, in Haskell, Okla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Alexander Robertson; and two children, Wilma "Jean" Ackerson and Fred Gary Robertson.
Survivors include four daughters, Nina Gayle Lightner, Janet Kay Gray, Margaret Christine Robertson and Patricia Lynn Roberts; and two sons, Donald Ray Robertson and Farris Dale Robertson of Springfield.
There will be a memorial service in Los Angeles, Calif.
Donations may be made to the Christian Children's Fund.
Jamie R. Robinson
Jamie R. Robinson, 34, Monett, died at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at St. John's, Springfield.
He was born June 3, 1973, in Atlantic, Iowa. He married Lora Tolbert June 14, 1996, in Springfield. She survives.
He worked in shipping at Hydro Aluminum in Monett.
Additional survivors include his father and stepmother, Ron and Carolyn Robinson, Tonganoxie, Kan.; his mother, JoAnn(Fobert) Robinson, Lewisburg, Kan., one stepson, Nathan Bunch, Aurora; two stepdaughters, Regina Lydick, Illinois, and Jolita Bunch, Aurora, three sisers, Rachelle Cole, Holt, Sarisa Grindstaff, Tonganoxie, and Sarah Srohl, Lewisburg; one stepbrother, Kary McCleandon, Tonganoxie; and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Robbie Ray Robinson.
Services wer Thursday, July 26, at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett. Burial was in Marengo Cemetery, Marengo, Iowa, Saturday, July 28.
Mike Rodrock
Mike Rodrock, 54, Miller, passed away at 9:28 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007, following complications after surgery, in St. John's Hospital, Springfield.
Mike was born Aug. 11, 1953, in Larned, Kan., to William Gordon and Melba (Leaton) Rodrock. He was a graduate of Miller High School with the Class of 1971. He worked in the oil fields in Sayre, Okla., from 1981 until 1988, when he returned to Miller. He worked for the county road district.
On Aug. 31, 1973, h e married Donna Mathews in Miller. She survives of the home.
Additional survivors include one daughter, Brandi Carver and husband Darren, Miller; two sons, Billy Rodrock and Michael Wade Rodrock, both of Miller; his father and stepmother, William Gordon and Hazel Rodrock, Mt. Vernon; and one brother, Bobby Rodrock, Jacksonville, Ill.; two sisters, Marcia Brown and husband Johnie, Mesa, Ariz., and Janie Justice, Aurora; and three grandkids, William Taylor Rodrock, Lillian Elizabeth SuAnn Rodrock and Austin Jeffery James Rodrock, all of Miller.
His mother and one son, Gordon M. Rodrock Jr., preceded him in death.
Services, under the direction of Morris-Leiman Funeral Home, Miller, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, in the First Baptist Church, Miller, with the Rev. Brandon Rinker officiating. Burial will follow in the Miller Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until noon Wednesday, Sept. 12.

John Paul Rooney
John Paul Rooney, 37, Marionville, formerly of Mt. Vernon, passed away at 7:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 22, 2010.
He was born Jan. 29, 1973, in Clinton, the son of Patricia B. Rooney.
John was a 1992 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School and had previously worked at Hood's Truck Stop as a fuel attendant.
He married Tammy Sue Lemons Oct. 22, 2004, in Miami, Okla. She survives.
Additional survivors include his mother, Pat Rooney, Mt. Vernon; mother-in-law Linda Lemons of Crane; two brothers-in-law, James and Stephen Lemons, also of Crane; sister-in-law Donna Ash and her husband, Greg, of Purdy; two uncles, William Rooney and his wife, Maria, of Leewood, Kan., and John Robert Rooney and his wife, Mary Ann, of Rociada, N.M.; one aunt, Connine Denning and her husband, Deverne, of Nevada; and his step-grandmother, Virginia Rooney, Verona. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Bernice Rooney.
Graveside services were Friday, Feb. 26, at the Mt. Vernon City Cemetery.

Donald Jack Root
Donald Jack Root, 77, Miller, died at 2:45 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8, 2010, at his residence. He was born Sept. 7, 1932, in Modesto, Calif., to Virgil and Elsie (Simons) Root. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Korean War, a member of the American Legion Post 120 and a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4541. He owned a grocery store and cocktail lounge in Modesto before moving to Miller in 1980. He built the Rusty Nail Saloon and also owned Crossroads Convenience Store and property in Miller.
He married LaVada Howard in Reno, Nev., in 1975. She survives.
Additonal survivors include a daughter, Donnene Hudspeth, Roseville, Calif.; a sister Yvonne Spencer, Fresno, Calif.; and a brother, Gene Root, Thyme, Wyo. He was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Root.
Graveside services were Friday, Feb. 12, in Campground Cemetery, southeast of Mt. Venon, under direction of Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home, Miller.

David Lee Ross
David Lee Ross, 70, Aurora, died Wednesday, Feb 11, 2009, in his home.
He was born Sept. 9, 1938, in Montrose, Colo., to James Ford and Mildred Leggett Ross.
He had been a resident of the area for the past 20 years, moving from California. He had worked as a dairy manager on a dairy farm or a number of years.
Survivors include his wife, Carol, six sons, Roy Ross, Aurora, Brian Ross, Duncan, Texas, Jim Ross, Pittsburgh, Pa., David Maxwell and Jack Ross, both of Aurora, and Tom Ross, Republic; three daughters, Christine Powers, Bakersfield, Calif., Pamela Dillon, Reavisville, and Cindy Sterling, Aurora; one brother James Ford Ross Jr., California; two sisters, Betty Brock, Sterling City, Calif., and Nadine Lewis, Vacaville, Calif.; 27 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were Monday, Feb. 16, in Reavisville Baptist Church, Reavisville. Burial was in Mars Hill Cemetery, under direction of Westrip Funeral Home, Crane.
Ruby M. Ross
Ruby Mae Ross, 85, Sarcoxie, died Thursday, Aug. 13, 2009, at the Sarcoxie Nursing Center.
She was born June 15, 1924, in Miller to Ernest and Gladys Smith Whittenburg. She was a homemaker and a member of the Evangel Assembly of God Church, Carthage.
She married Harold Athel Ross. He died Aug. 19, 2001
Survivors include one son, Harold Ross, Reeds; one daughter, Marilyn Jo Burst, Carthage; one brother, Willard Whittenburg, Mt. Vernon; two sisters, Ruth Fobair, Mt. Vernon, and Betty Branson, Oregon; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Gene Whittenburg; two sisters, Dorothy Frazier and Ina Jo Whittenburg; one grandson; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were Saturday, Aug. 15, in Housh-Goodwin Chapel, Sarcoxie, with the Rev. Mark Shaffer officiating. Burial was in Park Cemetery, Carthage.

Florence Johana Rousselle
Florence Johana Rousselle, 82, Aurora, died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007, in St. John's Aurora.
She was born June 13, 1925, in Glenwood City, Wis., to Alel and Jenne DeClene-Bonte.
She married James Wilton Rousselle Aug. 14, 1946. He preceded her in death.
She was a retired secretary for the City of St. Paul. Wis.
Survivors include four sons, Jimmy Rousselle, San Diego, Calif., Eric Rousselle, Broomfield, Colo., Gary Mahoney, Las Vegas, Nev., and Larry Mahoney, Bozeman, Mont.; four daughters, Dawn Rousselle Phillips, Republic, Kathy Diebel, Aurora, Pam Rousselle, Mahtomedi, Minn., and Ramona Luck, Oakton, Va.; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services were Tuesday, Sept. 25, at the family's home in Aurora, under direction of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett. Burial will be at a later date in Hammond, Wis.

Georgia Louise Rowe
Georgia Louise Rowe, 70, Aurora, died Sunday, April 8, 2007, in her home. She was born Jan. 3, 1937, in Blue Island, Ill., to Howard and Louise (Hazzard) DeVault.
She married Ed Rowe March 18, 1954, in Blue Island. She was a homemaker, a member of the American Leigon Auxiliary and was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include her husband, Ed; one daughter, Sue Rowe, Aurora; three sons, John, Las Vegas, Bert, Omaha, Neb., and Mark, Adams, Mass.; and two brothers, David DeVault, Fort Jones, Calif., and Don DeVault, Blue Island.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Caprice; and two brothers, Howard and Steve.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 12, in Maple Park Cemetery, Aurora, under the direction of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, Aurora.
Donations may be made to the charity of donor’s choice or to hospice, in care of the funeral home.
Hildred G. Rowe
Hildred G. Rowe, 87, Marionville, died Sunday, July 15, 2007, in St. John's Springfield.
She was born Feb. 12, 1920, in Marionville to Luther and Anna Batson Hadley. She was a retired bookkeeper.
Survivors include three brothers, Alfred Hadley and Charles Hadley, both of Marionville; and Joe Hadley, billings.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Rowe; one brother, Thomas Hadley; and two sisters, Lucille Hadley and Beatrice Coffer.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, in Peterson Fuenral Chapel, Aurora. Burial will be in Marionville IOOF Cemetery.
William Shae Ruark
William Shae Ruark, 44, Everton, died Monday, Aug. 13, 2007. He graduated from Miller High School in 1981 and was a 1985 graduate of Drury University. He was the director of development for the Child Advocacy Center and previous director of developemnt for Drury University chapter.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William Lloyd and Mary Ruark; and maternal grandparents, Clifton and Vera Batey. Survivors include his parents, William Larry and Linda (Batey) Ruark; and two sisters, Kristy Harrington and Sherri Ruark. Services were Saturday, Aug. 18, in Greenlawn Funeral Home East, Springfield.

Janet Gayle Ruble
Janet Gayle Ruble, 64, Aurora, died at 2:25 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at the Ozarks Methodist Manor, Marionville.
She was born June 29, 1944 in Marionville to Louis and Goldie (Head) Murphy.
She worked for Tyson Foods and for many years, worked at family-owned theaters in Aurora and Mt. Vernon. She was a member of the Church on the Rock.
Survivors include two sons, Steve and Shelby Ruble, both of Aurora; one daughter, Stephanie Supica, Overland Park, Kan.; two brothers, John Murphy, Marionville, and Don Murphy, Monett; five sisters, Betty Colley, Sarcoxie, Shirley Baker; Republic, Joyce Keithley, Crane, Kay Johnson, Galena, and Sandra Jean Buehler, Aurora; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
Memorial services were Sunday, April 26, at the Princess Theatre, Aurora, under direction of Crafton-Cantrell Fuenral Home, Aurora.
Bob Leroy Rucker
Bob Leroy Rucker, 80, Monett, died Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009, at his home.
He was born Feb. 13, 1929, in Borrowsmill to Wayne Arthur and Hazel Viola (Clark) Rucker.
He was a carpenter and retired from St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin. He was a member of Freedom Christian Center in Aurora.
He married Rosalie Mary Arnold July 15, 1948, in Huntsville, Ala. She survives.
Additional survivors include five sons, Bobby Rucker, Joplin, James Rucker, Tinley Park, Ill., Joe Rucker, Republic, Randy Rucker, Monett, and Greg Rucker, Pittsburgh, Pa.; two daughters, Debbie Copanos, Clever, and Kitty Gill, Orland Park, Ill.; one brother, Darrell Rucker, Neosho; one sister, Laree King, Carthage; 19 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services were Tuesday, Aug. 25, at Buchanan Funeral Home Chapel, Monett, with Pastor Tony Swillum officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the Red Oak Cemetery.
Anna May Ruscha
Anna May Ruscha, 80, Verona, died Saturday, May 8, 2010, in Cox South, Springfield.
She was born to George and Katie Ratekin White Aug. 22, 1929, in Aurora.
She retired from the Southwest Missouri Office on Aging.
Survivors include three sons, Joe Ruscha, Steve Ruscha and Bill Ruscha, all of Verona; one daughter, Mary Washam, Verona, one sister, Marie Hilton, Sacramento, Calif.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo; one daughter, Carol Leitle; and six brothers.
Memorial services were Tuesday, May 11, in the Peterson Funeral Chapel, Aurora.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kitchen or Victory Mission.
Kimberly Jo Rush
Kimberly Jo Rush, 40, Aurora, died Monday, Aug. 27, 2007, in her home.
She was born May 12, 1967, in Hammond, Ind., to Kenneth J. and Leona A (Seelen) Madura.
She attended Parkview Elementary in Valparaiso, Ind. and graduated from Valparaiso High School in 1985, where she was involved in the marching band. She was first chair alto clarinet and first place in the state of Indiana. She attended Purdue University from 1985-1986 in northwest Indiana. She completed her college training at burge School of Nursing in Springfield from 1986-1988. She was a registered nurse and worked in various health care facilities.
She married Jeff Rush Dec. 1, 1990. He survives.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Violet Madura, Damon Seelen and Leona Golembenski and one sister, Natalie Lynn Madura.
Additonal survivors include two daughters, Jennifer and Jessica, of the home; her parents, Ken and Lee Madura, Branson West; grandmother, Virginia Stellen, Enid Okla.; and two brothers, Kenny Madura, Branson, and Matt Madura, Nixa.
Services were Thursday, Aug. 30, at First Christian Church, Kimberling City, with Jerry Jenkins and Mark Brown officiating. Burial was in Pinecrest Cemetery, under direction of Stumpff Funeral Home-South, Kimberling City.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church or Grace Community Church.
Rosie Lee Russell
Rosie Lee Russell, 47, Aurora, died Saturday, June 16, 2007, from injuries received in a traffic accident on Highway 60, near Aurora.
She was born May 11, 1960, in France to William N. and Lioba (Pahl) Sellers. She married Kenneth Russell July 7, 1978, in Tulsa, Okla. She was a supervisor at Tyson's in Monett and a Girl Scout Leader.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth, one son, Travis, Aurora; two daughters, Tabitha Russell, Aurora, and Tamarra Russell, Kansas City; her mother and stepfather, Lioba and Harold Hale, Killeen, Texas; three sisters, Heidi Woodard, Dallas, Texas, Theresia Sellers, Killeen, and Frances Maltos, Tulsa; two brothers, Daniel Sellers, Killeen, and William Sellers; and one sister Tina Chris.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, in Maple Park Cemetery, Aurora, under direction of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, Aurora.
