Billy Gene Scott, Aurora, MO Obituary
Billy Gene Scott, 86, Aurora, died at 8:05 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012, in the Aurora Nursing Center, Aurora, MO. He was born Feb. 15, 1926, in Newburg to Homer and Lucy Scott. He married Joy Rene Kachel Aug. 29, 1946. She preceded him in death.
He was a cost accountant and a United States Navy Veteran.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Greg, and three brothers.
Survivors include one son, Steve, and one daughter, Laura Beatie; one brother, Norman; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were June 23, in Greenlawn Funeral Home East, Springfield, MO, with the Rev. John McGregor officiating.
