Polly Ann Harger, Monett, MO Obituary

Polly An Harger, 89, Monett, MO formerly of Russellville, Ark. died Friday, June 22, 2012, at the home of her daughter in Monett.  She was born April 15, 1923, at Moreland to Frant E. and Josie Estella Duvall.  She graduated from Russellville High School and attended Arkansas Tech University.

     She married Whitney Harger Jr.  Sept, 23, 1945.  He preceded her in death.

     She was a telephone operator for several years and a cashier at Roy Hamm's Grocery.  She later worked for First National Bank (Regions), where she was vice president and manager of the bookkeeping department.

     She attended First Free Will Baptist Church in Russellville and was a member of the Regions Retirees Club.

     She was also preceded in death by one sister, Avis Gray, and one great-grandson.
Survivors include one daughter, Sheri Harger Branch, Monett, MO three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one ogreat-great grandson.

     Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 28, at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville, with the Rev. Ken Dodson of Monett officiating, under the direction of Shinn Funeral Home, Russellville, AR.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, at the funeral home.
