Ruth H. Rote, 89, Aurora, MO
Ruth H. Rote, 89, Aurora, MO died Saturday, June 23, 2012, in her home. She was born May 13, 1923, in Elsey to Newt and Dora Howerton. She was a longtime employee of Mercy Hospital, Aurora.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John K. Rote; two brothers, five sisters and one grandson.
Survivors include six children, John Rote, Republic, MO Sharon Welch, Branson,MO and Mike Rote, Jody Buehler, Dennis Rote and Jennetta Crawford, all of Aurora, MO 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2012 in Maple Park Cemetery, Aurora, under the direction of Peterson Funeral Chapel, Aurora.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Humane Society.
